It seems it was well worth coming to Tassie and not just from a wellness perspective. We’re topping our sabbatical (with megaphone in hand) with news that Soula is now being represented by Penny Contemporary in Hobart.
Sonia and Tim Penny are one of Hobart’s much-admired creative duos. It was truly inspiring meeting them both, and you know it’s going to be a great friendship when it feels like you’ve known each other for years. Having only been introduced via email we invited Sonia and Tim to lunch when Sonia mentioned she was interested in Soula’s artwork.
Well, that’s how you do business here, over local produce, great wine, ocean views and sea breezes… I know, tough life!
We’ve been embraced and nurtured by this beautiful place and its divine and most friendly locals (yes, animals included). It makes us feel a little reminiscent about the old Melbourne actually but hey, now we can have the best of both worlds with a brilliant reason to visit.
Now, on with the show… get your diaries out, we’re looking at a March show. Confirmed dates, soon!
